All about the hit maker

There may be many different views about Santhosh Pandit, some people will say he got only negative popularity, some people say he is fool, whatever they say about him, he could make a mass. He made many followers, he put awareness of internet on the malayalam viewers. All this makes me a hard core fan of Santhosh pandit.

About Santhosh Pandit (From Wikipedia)

Santhosh Pandit (Malayalam: സന്തോഷ് പണ്ഡിറ്റ്) is a Malayalam film actor and director. He is known for his directorial debut film Krishnanum Radhayum in which he appeared in the lead role and handled almost all the major departments of the film. The songs and trailers of the film went viral in YouTube after it was released there before the release of the film.

Santhosh Ji initially was planing one and half hour movie with not much songs, later when he discussed the story line with his friend they suggested why can't have few songs as the hero itself portraying a musician.
He was actually approached one lyricist to write songs for his movie but as a director and based on the story line the lyricist was not agreed to write the songs and it didn't worked out. He discussed these issues with his friends and as they know about his talent they encouraged him to write the songs for the movie.

Later all the songs in the movie become super hit via Youtube, especially the Rathri Siva rathri and Angana vadiyile teachare.
The initial movie was planned for only 5 songs but based on the reviews and theme the songs count increased to eight. This was one of the crucial factor for making the movie a mega hit.

The movie budget was 500,000 Rs and before releasing the movie in the theatre itself it grossed more than ten times of the investment. The movie is going to be wide released in Kerala.
Most of the audience for his songs in Youtube was from outside India so many of the Keralaites staying abroad especially in the middle east expecting the movie will be release in middle east soon.
